DAY THIRTEEN: (cue the freaky music)

After blissfully discovering that MOCHI can really be made in waffle formation, I moved on with fresh vigor to make the "baking powder biscuits" from the recipe book:



Although they appear to look, just like biscuits...

They tasted a little more like:



But, when smothered with agave nectar.... they are delicious!

  1. I did not sense the toothpaste taste, but maybe my brand doesn't have enough baking soda in it!!
    The fact is, recently Owen and I have been using "Tom's of Main Wicked Fresh! Peppermint" flavor, which tastes exactly like a tictac.

    I agree that the biscuits, when smothered in agave nectar, were delicious! I am an agave nectar convert. I don't know what the heck it is, and it probably costs about 10 times the price of sugar, but it's gooooood.
